John 19:19-20

19Pilate had a notice prepared and fastened to the cross. It read:| JESUS OF NAZARETH, THE KING OF THE JEWS. 20Many of the Jews read this sign, for the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city, and the sign was written in Aramaic, Latin and Greek.

I find it interesting that a sign intended to be a mockery actually declared the truth to the hundreds of thousands (maybe more than a million) of people in Jerusalem for the Passover. Aramaic (possibly Hebrew) was the language of the native Jewish people, Greek was the common language spoken throughout The Roman Empire, and Latin was the official language of the Roman military. The truth was proclaimed in an understandable way for all to see even if it was understood at the time by only a few.
The Furious Love Event
Redeemer Fellowship Church
April 6-9, 2011

The Furious Love Event is not a conference. Not really. A typical conference will have 2-4 speakers. This event will feature 10 speakers. All of the speakers have been featured in Darren Wilson's first two films, Finger of God and Furious Love, and Wanderlust Productions will be filming the entire event to create a teaching supplement for those films that can be used in churches, small groups, or individually.

Heidi & Rolland Baker

Rolland and Heidi Baker began Iris Ministries, Inc., an interdenominational mission, in 1980 and have been missionaries for the past twenty-five years.

Today Rolland and Heidi cry out for a continuation of the visitation of God experienced by the children of H.A. Baker's orphanage in China long ago. That is beginning to happen, and more testimonies are accummulating than can be communicated! May the Word of God spread in power to the remote corners of the world, and may the the poor, the crippled, the lame and the blind, people who have never before tasted the goodness of God, be drawn the King's great banquet!

Robby Dawkins

Born to missionary parents in Japan, Robby had an early start in ministry. In his father’s church he began a children’s ministry at the age of 12, and became the youth minister at 16 years old.

Robby and his wife, Angie, married in 1992, have pastored the Vineyard Church of Aurora, IL since 1996. They feel God called them to plant in a poor urban community, and continually use “power evangelism” to gather for the church.

“In addition to starting and pastoring this church, God has called me for the purpose of building up and equipping the local church with power tools for harvesting,” Robby shares. These “power tools” are prophetic ministry, healing, ministry of the presence of God, and deliverance from demonic power.

Will Hart

In 1999 Will Hart walked into the basement of a church not knowing why he was there. That night the Holy Spirit reached out and grabbed him by the heart and he was never the same. While the rest of his senior class was walking down the aisle collecting their diplomas, Will was already on a plane to Paraguay.

During his 19 months in Paraguay he witnessed the power of revival first hand. Ministering alongside his mentor Bob Bradbury, he saw salvations, healing and deliverances. The power of the Spirit was on him to preach and set people free. In 2002 he received a call from Randy Clark to travel with him full time.

After three years of hands on training with Randy, Will and his wife Musy moved to Mozambique to serve Heidi and Rolland Baker. Will's call is to take the simplicity of the gospel and power of the Holy Spirit wherever he goes. Whether it is the jungles of Congo or the streets of Thailand, he is expectant and confident in the Holy Spirit showing up in power.

Shampa Rice ("Shanti" from the film)

Shampa Rice was raised in Calcutta, living across the street from Mother Teresa’s headquarters from the age of 12, Shampa was often inspired by her faith and simplicity. She prayed that God would raise her out of poverty so that she too could someday help the poor as Mother Teresa was doing. God heard her cries above and beyond anything she could have dreamed; eventually she would be reaching people all over the world with God’s love.

One of Shampa’s favorite themes is that God likes to use simple, “little people.” “I love to cook. I am a woman from the kitchen,” she says. “God is not looking for someone important; He's looking for anybody who loves Him because He wants to be found more than we want to find Him.”

Shampa has been the director for Iris Ministries in North India since 2005.

A quote from Randy Clark:
As many of you know I consider myself a student of revival. I love reading about it, studying it, hearing about it and most of all living in it. I recently read a book by Tommy Welchel called “Azusa Street: They Told me Their Stories.” It’s a powerful book about lives of people who were touched by the revival at a very young age. In reading this book, I realized this revival was marked by the Shekinah Glory of God. I read something else, though, that has gripped me ever since. In 1909 or 1910 (the writer is unsure), both William J. Seymour and Charles Parham prophesied that in about 100 years “there would be a return of the Shekinah Glory and a revival that would surpass the Works of God at Azusa.” I believe that as we go into this that we should expect the fulfillment of this prophesy which will bring us into a level of healing that we have not seen for 100 years.

Last Man Standing

I think it was 1997. Some of the ministry team from the Brownsville Revival came to Toledo for a series of meetings. I had heard that God was showing up dramatically in people's lives through that church. I had heard about the power of God touching people in a way that caused them to shake, fall down, cry, and even laugh uncontrollably. I went to Toledo anticipating all the above.

I had seen those things happen before. I had seen them many times. I had never experienced any of them myself however. I was especially interested in the falling down part which is commonly called being slain in The Spirit.. Why? Probably because I had been in many meetings since my childhood where it looked like a game of Pentecostal Twister broke out during the ministry time. Bodies would be strewn everywhere and I was always last man standing. As a teenager I even faked it at a youth meeting once because I didn't think the people would stop praying for me until I fell. The only thing worse than being last man standing was being fake man laying with no idea how long I was supposed to stay down.

So once in Toledo I was quite disappointed. On the way there I prayed that God would touch me in a way that would cause me to fall. I prayed it over and over again. I prayed it the way a 3 year old repeats something if they feel like they have not been heard. Over and over and over again. I wouldn't let the worship at the beginning of the service get in my way. I was single focused. I sang the songs - but I sang them with one thing in mind. I was like the person that can steer any conversation toward themselves. Repeatedly I would tell God that all I wanted was for Him to touch me. The worship ended and my "prayerful" badgering continued. Then came the sermon. I have absolutely zero memory of the sermon. How could I? I did not listen. I was too busy telling God what He should do.

Finally the sermon ended. There was a call for people to respond to the sermon on the floor of this large auditorium. The preacher could have appealed for anyone to come down that was struggling with an addiction to juggling and I wouldn't have known any different. I ran down to get prayed for so that I could fall down. I was hungry for God in my own mind.

There were hundreds of people waiting for ministry. I tried to position myself in the line of someone praying for people. I continued my barrage of petitioning God for Him to show himself by doing to me what I had seen him do for others so many times.

A strong looking man with a mustache came toward me. I put my hands out and waited. He grabbed me by the back of my neck and shoved me forward in a downward motion. I weighed about 280 lbs.at the time and I resisted. He tried again and I resisted more. He then went along praying for and laying hands on other people. Now I was angry. Angry and offended. How dare he try to push me down? My indignation at the mustachioed man caused me to ignore my own selfishness as I continued my prayerful appeal.

Soon I saw a man moving the crowd. He appeared to be in his early 50's and shorter than I with slicked back jet black hair. Several people were on each side of him as an entourage. I could see gold jewelry on his hands and wrists complementing his dark well made suit as he approached.Wherever he went they went too. He looked like I imagined a Mafia Don would. The suit may have cost more than the car I was driving at the time. Now I was doubly offended. Both at The Pusher and at Don Corleone.

Don Corleone came straight to me along with his entourage. I was surprised as he came close because there was something in his eyes. Peace. Strength. Gentleness. I was taken off-guard. He put his hands gently next to my temples. I could barely feel his hands against my hair. Then it happened...

In the middle of my indignation, offense, and bewilderment I felt my body go straight up in the air. My feet literally left the ground and elevated a few inches and then I immediately fell backward. I have no memory of landing but I laid on my back trying to comprehend what just happened. I wondered what I was supposed to do next. I felt the same as I had before except I was now on my back. No visions or trance. No shaking or laughter.

It was then that I felt God speak to me. I suddenly had the understanding that I wanted the wrong things for the wrong reasons. I wanted to be slain in The Spirit not because I was so hungry for God, but rather because I had felt insecure when other people had experienced something I had not. I felt like it was validation of my low self worth every time I was last man standing. Subconciously, I believed that my lack of a manifestation equalled a lack of God's love for me. I realized the error of my perspective.  I asked for forgiveness while still on the ground for using Him and pretending it was spiritual hunger. I also repented for my judgment of the two men that prayed for me.

I really did lift off of the ground and fall backwards. That has not happened since then. In the past several years I have been last man standing in many states and even a couple of countries. I no longer ask God for that specific thing. I ask Him to transform me more into Christ's image. I ask Him to have mercy on my shortcomings (which are many) and to help me be merciful to others. I ask Him for many things but falling down isn't one of them. He can do that if He wants do and I am willing.

A Few Testimonies of Jesus Healing @ Night 1 of BSSE

  • A man suffering with back pain was healed.

  • A lady with Multiple Sclerosis  that had a very minimal range of motion was touched by God and was able to bend over fully and touch her toes.

  • A man with blurred vision in one eye regained his sight completely.

  • A person's leg was healed after a word of knowledge about someone being injured from falling down stairs.

  • A young lady left the session to return home with a migraine on the right side of her head. After that one of the Bethel Team had a word of knowledge about someone having a migraine on the right side of their head. The young lady was called and felt totally pain free after receiving prayer via cell phone.
